SUPERTOUCH

Supertouch is a creative hub for a diverse community of visionary artists and cultural instigators. At a time when art and pop culture have become inexorably linked, and the high and low art worlds struggle against traditional boundaries of economic and social distinction, Supertouch acts as a bridge, offering a wide view of art and visual culture from a uniquely street level perspective. Surveying a vast array of artistic genres -- from music and film to street art, graphics, and fine painting -- Supertouch aims to present leaders in their fields and young upstarts struggling for recognition side-by-side in an artistic community where commonalities of creative energy are the unifying factors. Jamie O'Shea founded Supertouch in 2006 as a personal blog site that, due to popular demand, quickly expanded into an online creative community. O'Shea's position as the editor of the seminal counter-cultural art publication Juxtapoz from 1996 to 2006 placed him at the nexus of the wildly expanding underground art movement that so radically altered the landscape of today's modern art world.
